  • What is Diolaze, laser hair removal?

    Laser hair removal is a popular painless, cosmetic procedure that uses concentrated light to target and eliminate hair follicles, reducing hair growth. Laser hair removal can be used on multiple body parts.

    Prior to appointment: typically will be asked to shave the area to be treated, shaving is preferred because the laser targets the hair follicle, and longer hair could interfere with the treatment. Waxing or plucking the hair can interfere with the laser's ability to target the hair follicle. Will be asked to avoid sun exposure for a few weeks before treatment, as tanned skin can increase the risk of side effects.

    Procedure: Clean area, a handheld device is used to emit laser light onto the target area.
